The
Willows Inn is committed to showing the work of talented local
artists. Our common rooms become a gallery of art which is changed
quarterly and is carried over into the bedrooms and around the
Inn.
We
have shown collections of prints, etchings and paintings by such
well-known artists as Wallace Nutting, Tom Woods, Jano Argue,
and Ernest Robertson, and sculptures by C.A. Scott and Ann Morris.
Some other local artists we have featured are: Sharron Antholt,
Susan Bennerstrom, Jane Burns, Morgan, Michael Oppenheimer, and
Peter Bowman.
Other
art you will find around The Willows:
Our gardens have 5 sculptures by C.A. Scott, from his Pillars
of Society series.
Sharron Antholt is completing a fresco on the patio wall of the
Taproot Pub, a classical Roman motif called “Il Dolce far
Niente”.
Michael Oppenheimer has placed his wind buoy in our cherry tree,
and his unique wind chime on our front deck.
The
art is available for purchase. When visiting the Inn let us know
if you would like more information about the art you see.
