October...Dinner at 6:30, cocktails at 5:30. Try our Lemon Verbena lemon drop, made with our own infused potato vodka!
We feature wild foraged mushrooms, greens, grapes, raspberries, summer and winter squash, fresh reefnet coho.
November...Dinner at 6:30, cocktails at 5:30 around the fire. Try a hot buttered rum, with Mt Gay dark rum and our own butter mix.
We feature winter vegetables, local duck, lamb, and poussin.
December...We are on Winter Break! Closed from December 1 through Christmas. We reopen Saturday, December 26, through Sunday, January 3. We will be open to the public every night for dinner, drinks, and planned activities.
Sunday, December 27...Nina Laden will speak about her children's books, and what it takes to publish one.
Monday, December 28...David O'Hare will talk about his successful commercials as creative director, and what it takes to actually sell a screenplay.
Wednesday, December 30..Judy Arntsen, from Dickerson Wines, will share some festive wines for the holidays.
New Year's Eve...Ring in the new year with our Italian theme party. We start at 7 with prosecco around the blazing fireplace, then seat for dinner at 8. The five course menu will have paired wines from Noble Wine's Laurent Martel. Music will be from guitarist/singer Scrub Hubner, who knows every song ever written before 1995.
2010
January...We are closed January 4 through January 13, then open as usual. Dinner at 6:30, cocktails around the fire at 5:30. Try a hot buttered rum, made the old fashioned way.
We feature roasted lamb, chicken, and island beef.
February...We are closed February 1 through February 10. We reopen Thursday, February 11, and be open to the public through Valentine's Day, then resume regular dinner hours.
Thursday, February 25...James Beard Award winner Holly Smith will be our star!!. Winemake to be announced.
March...Thursday, March 25..James Beard Award winner Greg Higgins, from Higgins in Portland, and John Paul from Cameron Wines, in Dundee. We will feature "the whole pig".
April...Thursday, April 22. James Beard Award winner Jonathan Sundstrom from Lark and Licorus in Seattle, and Nina and Caleb Buty-Foster from Buty Wines in Walla Walla will dazzle us all.
May...Beginning May 1, chef Vincent Schofield will return to the Willows kitchen. Hours will be Wednesday through Sunday for guests and the public. Cocktails at 6, dinner at 7.
Spot Prawns on the Deck will begin Sunday, May 16, and continue through Labor Day.
June...Thursday, June 17...Celebrated chef and author Vitaly Paley, from Paley's in Portland, will be cooking and signing cookbooks.
